I really enjoyed reading the devlog and having the two versions to look at side by side! It is definitely a v2.0, an upgrade to even more evocative writing -- you've also shown me that sometimes shortening a d20 table to d6 (just the greatest hits) can actually make a table feel more robust!
Yeah, some of the 1.0 tables were rather muddy as I was both less confident in my own writing and also only having one half-line per entry was an awkward and not especially productive constraint! But shorter tables that have slightly longer entries made for a much better end result.
